Produced and distributed by EGREM, Cuba's state recording company, the album was released in 1975 during the "Año del Primer Congreso" (Year of the First Congress), referring to the First Congress of the Communist Party of Cuba. The front cover features a color photograph of Castro in military uniform engaged in conversation with two women delegates wearing light blue dresses, symbolizing the dialogue between revolutionary leadership and Cuban women's organizations.
