Sandra Dooley

Born in Havana in 1964, Sandra Dooley only began to paint at age 36.  Inspired by the masters, she taught herself to paint by studying books on Picasso, Chagall and Matisse.  

Dooley’s works reflect her life at home living by the sea with her family, friends and pets.  She began working with oils and now incorporates oil pastels and often embroidered fabrics into her mixed media works.

She has been exhibiting her works since 2000, in Cuba, Canada, Germany and the United States.
