Susana Soria Chapur is a Santiago de Cuba-based independent artist working with pulp aesthetics. Chapur's collages and art prints are made from a self-taught technique of cloistering recycled images from American fashion magazines and their featured advertisements. These visual shards are arranged meticulously, forming a fateful contrast that brands her original artwork. A devoted celebrator of fashion, Chapur was featured in Cuban Artists Today, a group exhibition by Collectionair.
