Pedro Santacilia (1826-1910) was a Cuban writer, journalist, and independence advocate who was married to Margarita Maza, the daughter of Mexican President Benito Juárez. He was an important figure in 19th-century Cuban literary and political life. This commemorative poster marks the 152nd anniversary of his birth (1826-1978).
