This OSPAAAL solidarity poster supports North Korea (DPRK), showing the North Korean flag being held by a hand breaking free from chains labeled "USA." This represents Cuba's solidarity with North Korea and opposition to U.S. influence on the Korean peninsula. The campaign ran from June 25 (anniversary of the start of the Korean War in 1950) to July 27 (anniversary of the armistice in 1953).
