René Quintana Bravo (b. Havana, 1966)
René Quintana Bravo studied at the Cuba's National Art School and has shown his work internationally. Since 2000, he has worked as co-curator of Espacio Aglutinador, a highly respected alternative exhibition space in Havana. In René Quintana Bravo's compositions, swatches of brightly colored paint intermingle with scraps of newsprint, bits of cardboard, bubble wrap, duct tape, used straws, and other discarded items.
